This week, Jane welcomed the Minister for Children, Families and Wellbeing, David Johnston OBE MP to Wolverhampton North East.
Jane and David met with Kyle and Alisa Smith who run the Apple Trees Nursery in Bushbury.
In addition to visiting the Nursery, the Minister saw one of the local Government-funded Family Hubs and met with Council representatives to discuss the expansion of free childcare provision.
Commenting, Jane Said:
"It was lovely to visit Apple Trees Nursery this week with Children's Minister David Johnston.
The nursery was set up last year by Kyle and Alisa Smith, and it's great to see it thriving. It's important to me to keep Wolverhampton firmly on the Government's radar.
Thanks to Kyle for speaking to us about a number of issues including recruitment/apprenticeships and the regulations around epi-pens."
