During the debate, Jane raised the case of her constituent Mandy Gayle, whose father Hopton Gayle, was killed by an uninsured teenage driver who was speeding on Stafford Road. In her speech Jane called for tougher sentences for hit and run drivers.
Mandy has met Jane on a number of occasions to discuss her campaign work with Remain and Report.
